These are adapters to convert SGU10 lamp fixtures to work with standard GU10 lamps. When installed you cannot tell the difference between these adapters using GU10 bulbs and the original SGU10 lamps. They can be installed without the need to employ the services of an electrician or the use of any tools and as such are installed just as easily and quickly as installing an OEM bulb. Effectively “plug and play”.
Using these adapters with standard GU10 bulbs saves approximately £8-10 a fixture compared with buying Aurora bulbs. They also allow you to use much higher quality, longer lasting LED bulbs and bulbs of a dimmable variety that Aurora does not sell. The adapter will last the lifetime of the fixture.
This adapter comes in two parts. There is the ring face adapter which sits at the end of the bulb to hold it in the fixture and the GU10 adapter which sits over the top of the bulb to convert the electrical connector and extend the length of the bulb to fit the holder.
